CUSTOM SPONGE MANUFACTURING BRIEF Brand Overview We are developing a premium, design-led kitchen cleaning brand launching in the UK. Our launch product is a signature dual-sided kitchen sponge designed to combine: elevated aesthetics improved functionality fast drying performance ergonomic usability plant-based materials The sponge is intended to feel like a modern countertop object rather than a disposable cleaning product. Our long-term vision is to build a recognisable lifestyle homeware brand beginning with the kitchen sink category. PRODUCT OVERVIEW Product Name Signature Sponge (working title) Product Concept A dual-sided sculptural kitchen sponge designed to: dry faster stay fresher for longer rinse cleaner improve grip and usability look beautiful on the countertop The product combines: a cellulose sponge side a non-scratch scrub / loofah side The sponge will sit alongside a raised sponge holder as part of a coordinated sink setup. KEY PRODUCT FEATURES 1. Custom Sculptural Shape We are developing a custom silhouette unique to our brand. The shape includes: softened rounded edges ergonomic grip a central cut-out / slot feature The slot serves both: ergonomic cleaning functionality improved airflow and drying performance The shape should feel: modern premium soft recognisable comfortable in hand 2. Quick-Dry / Freshness Performance The sponge is being designed specifically to: dry faster than standard sponges reduce trapped moisture stay fresher for longer rinse clean easily maintain structure over time Durability and drying performance are extremely important to the product. 3. Materials We are currently exploring: plant-based cellulose sponge material natural loofah or non-scratch scrub layer plastic-free or lower-plastic material options where possible Please confirm: all material options available whether materials are plant-based whether materials are biodegradable or compostable whether materials are non-scratch what adhesive systems are used for bonding We are especially interested in: quick-dry performance anti-odour performance durability clean rinsing premium feel and texture CUSTOMISATION REQUIREMENTS Please confirm whether you can support: Shape Custom die-cut shape Soft organic silhouette Precision cut-out feature Colour - specific colour is key! Two-tone sponge colours Standard colour options available Custom colour MOQ requirements Can you do patterns?, I am aware of MOQ but a key part for us would be to have ‘stripes’ to match the branding. See image below Branding Please confirm available branding methods: debossed logo printed logo laser marking packaging labels TARGET PRODUCT FEEL The sponge should feel: premium substantial structured soft but durable aesthetically elevated We are intentionally creating a sponge consumers will feel comfortable leaving visible on the kitchen counter.
