Hi there,
I am the founder of a new UK lifestyle homeware brand launching in 2026. A little bit of background — I am 24, based in the UK, with a big dream and a genuine love for cleaning. I am currently a superyacht stewardess, so quality and high standards are things I live by every day. I am launching this business with my lovely mum and we are really excited about what we are building.

We are developing a signature sponge as our hero launch product and are looking for a manufacturer who can produce a custom shape in cellulose material with a two-tone colour finish.

Before I send our full product brief, I wanted to check whether you can help with the following:

1. Custom die-cut shape (we have a reference image to share)
2. Two-tone colour — darker scrub side, lighter soft side, same colour family
3. Plant-based cellulose material — no plastic, quick-dry, anti-odour. If you don't produce cellulose, please let me know what plant-based, plastic-free alternatives you can offer — no synthetic polymer foam
4. Custom branding — is this possible debossed, printed, or label brand mark on the sponge?
5. Minimum order quantity — we are looking to start at 3,000–5,000 units

If this sounds like something you can help with, could you please confirm:

— MOQ for a custom shape and colour
— Unit price at 3,000 and 5,000 units
— One-time tooling / die-cut cost for a custom shape
— Sample lead time and sample cost
— Production lead time after sample approval

We are a design-led brand and the quality of finish is really important to us. We would love to see examples of any custom shape or colour work you have done previously.

This is a launch product for a brand with big growth ambitions and we are genuinely excited to find the right partner. We are looking for a long-term relationship, not a one-off order — so if this feels like a good fit, I would love to hear from you.
