We are a manufacturer of ophthalmic surgical instruments and consumables, and we are currently looking for a manufacturing partner for regenerated cellulose sponge material used in ophthalmic surgery.

We are interested in cellulose sponge sheets with the following target specifications:

Dimensions: 200mm x 200mm
Thickness: 0.9-1.2mm(dry), Expands up to approximately 10 mm after water absorption
Color: White
Application: Ophthalmic surgical absorbent manufacturing
(Biocompatibility testing will be conducted by us)

Required Characteristics:
・Fine and uniform pore structure
・Smooth surface after water absorption
・No visible coarse pore expansion after wetting
・Low particle shedding (low lint)
・Soft and non-abrasive surface
・Fast liquid absorption
・Good compression recovery after we use

Estimated Quantity:
・Initial evaluation: approximately 2000 over 2-3 months
・Potential volume : up to 4000 sheets pre month

Before proceeding, could you please confirm the following:
1.	Do you manufacture regenerated cellulose sponge in your own factory?
2.	Do you perform the foaming process internally?
3.	Can you customize: pore size, density, swelling behavior after water absorption, compression recovery
4.	Can you supply sponge blocks or sheets before converting in to finished products?
5.	Can you provide samples for evaluation?

We are looking for a long-term manufacturing partner and would be pleased discuss this project further.
